Lagoon is a free, open-source CDN for the static files that frontend projects ship: scripts, stylesheets, fonts and WebAssembly modules.

What we believe

A URL that has shipped should keep working. That is why every release is immutable, every file has a published digest, and versions are never overwritten. Fast delivery is only useful if it is also predictable.

How it is run

Lagoon is operated by a small distributed infrastructure team and funded by sponsors and donated bandwidth from network partners. There are no ads and no tracking: request logs are aggregated for capacity planning and discarded within thirty days.

Fair use

The service is free for open-source projects and reasonable commercial use. Abusive traffic patterns are rate limited at the edge, and illegal or malicious content is removed on report.
